Chell Instruments to showcase innovative new pressure scanner at Aerospace Test & Development Show on 29-30 September
September 10, 2026

World-leaders in gas measurement and control instrumentation, Chell Instruments, have announced they are unveiling their Q-DAQ-V for the very first time at the 2026 Aerospace Test & Development Show on 29 – 30 September.

The Q-DAQ-V is an industrial pressure scanner which combines the high-accuracy measurement technology of Chell’s renowned microDAQ3 series with the rugged capabilities of a Stainless Steel Quick Disconnect (SQDC).

Chell are set to showcase the Q-DAQ-V at the Aerospace Test & Development Show, an international exhibition held in Toulouse, France, that is dedicated to manufacturers of aerospace components, aircraft, space exploration vessels, drones and air defence systems.

“Given the value that our products provide to the aerospace sector, we’re always excited to return to the Aerospace Test & Development Show. And, we’re especially thrilled to be unveiling the Q-DAQ-V – our latest industrial pressure scanner and combined quick-disconnect, which has been specially developed for the aerospace industry” says Nick Broadley, Director at Chell Instruments.

The Q-DAQ-V is a 16-channel pressure scanner which outputs differential or absolute compensated engineering unit pressure data over Ethernet, CAN and IENA and iDDS when used with our TP-DAQ iDDS translator accessory. When using differential mode, one of the 16 channels is nominated as a reference, making the Q-DAQ-V a 15-channel differential unit.

The added compatibility of the Stainless Steel Quick Disconnect gives the user a vibration tolerant quick-disconnect fitting capable of interfacing with 1mm and 1.6mm (1/16”) flexible or solid tubing.

The Q-DAQ-V also incorporates an electrically driven purge valve and internal heaters, making it ideal for both flight and ground-based applications.

“The Q-DAQ-V’s internal heaters are particularly important for flight applications because it ensures reliable pressure measurement when operating in challenging or changing thermal conditions. Combined with its electrically driven purge valve and rugged SQDC connectivity, the Q-DAQ-V provides a robust solution for both flight and ground-based testing” adds Nick.

Since 1976, Chell Instruments have been providing pressure, vacuum and gas flow measurement equipment for use across various sectors, including motorsport, pharmaceuticals, energy and aerospace.

In the aerospace industry, Chell’s pressure scanners are regularly used to assist with the development of jet engines, airframes and electrified flight development for both commercial and military purposes across Europe, America and Asia.

At the Aerospace Test & Development Show, Chell will be engaging with engineering professionals from across the sector alongside their French distributor, DYVA Mesures, at Stand 818.

“We’re excited to return to the Aerospace Test & Development Show and share how our cutting-edge instrumentation supports the next generation of commercial and military flight. If you’re attending, come and join us at Stand 818 to discover our latest high-precision instrumentation and learn more about the Q-DAQ-V!” concludes Nick.
