Description
The microDAQ-INT-8F is an 8-way Ethernet switch (layer 2 – unmanaged) with power distribution designed for the Chell scanner range. It is compatible with standard SFP modules allowing the host connection to be through either copper or fibre.
SFP modules are available in a range of fibre types with speeds up to 2.5Gb, distances of 100’s of metres and temperatures up to 350C. The user can simply insert their chosen SFP module ensuring that it is compatible with the module in their Ethernet switch. The microDAQ-INT-8F is supplied without an SFP module allowing the user to specify their own fibre/copper types
Additionally, the microDAQ-INT-8F can be used without the SFP module by using the 10/100Mbps available on the host socket. This socket also carries the DC power, CAN and hardware trigger.
*The microDAQ-INT-8F is compatible with IEEE PTPv2 but it does not contain a boundary clock service. The resultant jitter of the PTP service is less than ±600pS
