Description
The Chell TP-DAQ is an iDDS translator and interface designed to bring advantages of iDDS and PoE to the Chell range of miniature pressure scanners.
The host connector will connector to an iDDS backbone and transmit pressure data. The scanner connector will connect to the scanner and, using the IENA protocol obtain 32-bit pressure data from a range of Chell pressure scanners.
Data can be synchronised by hardware trigger or via IEEE PTPv2. Typically, data is time stamped on arrival at the TP-DAQ giving a time delay of <7ms. Alternatively, the boundary clock within the TP-DAQ can be used to allow PTP synchronisation of the pressure scanner itself.
The TP-DAQ provides the power for the pressure scanner and can be powered by DC volts or Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).
The in-built web server is used to configure the i/p address of the pressure scanner used and all subsequent configuration is done via the iDDS config server.
