We are proud to announce that our new charity to support is the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA). The EAAA is a life-saving charity supporting frontline emergency services across East Anglia. Funds donated to the charity enables EAAA to deliver highly skilled doctors and critical care paramedics by air to seriously ill or injured people in the region.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance receives no regular government funding and relies on community donations to keep their two helicopters flying and saving lives.
Charity events are just one of the ways the EAAA raises funds, and this year we will be aiding their cause by participating in Trek 24. Our team will be taking the Trek 24 challenge by walking 24 miles around the Norfolk Coast, raising support as they go.
The air ambulance charity has been running for over 20 years and in this time crews have been dispatched to patients at the roadside, in the city, on the beach and in over 30,000 missions.
With the combination of a quick response time, advanced critical care on scene and quick transfer to the appropriate hospital, the East Anglian Air Ambulance saves lives across the region.
We are delighted to be able to help in this cause and our whole team looks forward to running their own fundraising events for the life-saving charity throughout 2021 and beyond!
